notes about this webpage

The "Homepage of the Restless Aries" is the third iteration of my homepage. My first hompeage was named "You are Here" and was frame-centric, loaded with animated gifs and hosted by the now defunct Geocities. My second homepage "The Internet Inaka" was hosted on the UCLA server and was purely text driven with my thoughts and musings as they allocated students only 5 megs of webspace (before the golden age of Facebook). My current webpage is hosted at 1&1 and was originally intended to be used as a way to share high-resolution photos with friends, however along the way I figured it would be a waste not to have any kind of website and built up the content into something meaningful to me.

The utopian image on my index page was drawn by Chris Moore and was the one of the covers to the Philip K. Dick novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" The photo below was downloaded off the internet and was the original spash page to "The Homepage of the Restless Aries" - I have no idea where it came from or who it is, but it makes me happy. All other images on this site are original photos taken by me. Most of the html coding was done on OSX's TextEdit (similar to Window's Notepad) and looks best on any browser other than Microsoft's Internet Explorer. I hope you enjoy the contents of my hompage.

A special thanks to James and Jonas for their invaluable input on the design and layout of my homepages over the years and to Jessica for encouraging me to put up something other than the splashpage below.
